Some people believe he commited suicide, others believe he is still out there somewhere. The truth is we may never find out what happened to him.
Richey James Edwards is a former member of Manic Street Preachers. His role was guitarist and lyricist, and also designed the band's early albums artwork..
On February 1st 1995, he was reported as a missing person, even to this very day his whereabouts are unknown,

On sunday Novermber 23rd 2008, nearly 14 years after he disappeared, Richey's parents chose to declare him legally dead.
Dead or alive, it doesn't change the things he wrote, said and did, he will always live on in all those who appreciated him.....what actually happened to him will just remain as a great enigma.
